Robson Valley Industrial Lands Study (on RDFFG site)
The Village of Valemount makes every effort to create the right conditions for business attraction and retention. Valemount is still perceived by the general traveller as “just another stop on Hwy 5”; on the other hand, Valemount is working on a short-term goal to “become a favourite stop on Hwy 5” and on a long-term vision to become a destination for memorable experiences.
The Village identified and promoted larger projects such as a sightseeing gondola in the Premier Range and smaller projects such as the completion of the Big Foot Trail and the Cranberry Marsh Trail. In partnership with local, regional, and provincial organizations the Village participates in tourism product development and promotion.
