BC Hydro is adding a 50kW DC fast charger to the existing vehicle charging station located at Centennial Park.
Vehicles should be able to fully charge in less than 45 minutes.
BC Hydro had entered into an agreement with The Village of Valemount to provide the charging station at no cost to residents.
Users can download the BC Hydro EV app to search for charge stations and to activate the charging process.
The installation of the new station is anticipated to be completed by October 21, 2022.
