The snow is off the fields and maintenance is underway for another busy sports season in Valemount. Over the winter, Council permitted the use of the John Osadchuk Ball Park on a short term, trial basis to allow dog owners a fenced place to get some exercise. That trial has now ended and the park is being made ready to host ball games again soon.

A few lessons were learned and a lot of helpful feedback was received during the trial. Thank you to everyone that shared comments with the Village on how to improve on our local parks and recreation.

The Village will continue to discuss long term options using the information gathered – but for now, Play Ball!
