Following the direction of the Province, the Village of Valemount is pleased to communicate the details of British Columbia’s COVID19 Restart Plan – Stage 3. As per the PHO, please note the following updates:
• Masks are recommended in public indoor setting for all people over the age of 12 who are not fully vaccinated.
• Indoor organized gatherings to a maximum of 50 people, or 50% of fire rating capacity, whichever is greater.
• Outdoor organized gatherings 5,000 people or 50% capacity, whichever is greater.
• No capacity limits or restrictions on religious gatherings and worship services.
• Fairs, festivals, and trade shows return to normal with a Communicable Disease Plan.
• Restaurants, Pubs and Bars
     -No group limits for indoor and outdoor dining.
     -Events are allowed.
     -May return to normal liquor service hours.
     -However, no socializing between tables.
• All indoor fitness classes, gyms and recreation facilities are allowed to operate at normal capacity.
• BC is ready to welcome all visitors from across Canada.
