Thanks to a generous grant from Columbia Basin Trust, Valemount kids will soon be able to play on an accessible merry-go-round in Centennial Park!
Public Works has removed an aging piece of playground equipment and is currently prepping the site; final installation will be weather dependent, but delivery is estimated for mid-October.
Accessibility impacts children as well as adults; the Village is grateful to CBT for the opportunity to serve all citizens.
The new merry-go-round will be similar to the one pictured above.
