Roots of Life Child Care Centre

Ada’s Place, the childcare centre and affordable housing complex in our little village, highlights the essential role that partnerships play in non-profit development. The Village of Valemount was a key partner providing land at no cost through a long-term lease. Once land was confirmed, capital funding was committed by the Ministry of Education and Childcare, BC Housing, and the Columbia Basin Trust.
M’akola Development Services has created a short video to showcase Ada’s Place. Watch the video here, featuring appearances by Mayor Owen Torgerson, and lots of giggling daycare kiddos:  Ada’s Place: The Power of Partnerships in Non-Profit Development on Vimeo
